A wild fight broke out in Edinburgh, leaving shoppers stunned and wondering what happened
Edinburgh: A crazy fight happened outside a shopping centre on Friday night. It was around 11 PM when things got out of hand. A local caught the whole scene on camera near St James Quarter.
In the video, you can see one guy throwing punches. Then, he gets hit a few times and ends up on the ground. It’s unclear what kicked off the fight, but there were about eight people involved.
People watching were shocked as the brawl escalated quickly. It started at the shopping centre entrance and moved towards Leith Street. We still don’t know if anyone got hurt. Police Scotland has been asked for more info.
This isn’t the first time something like this happened. Back in May 2024, there was another brawl in the city, and it involved women fighting in the street. A worried resident mentioned a 14-year-old girl got “bruised” and had her “hair pulled out.”
