Edinburgh’s nightlife is buzzing as partygoers brave long queues to get into the Subway club, sparking lively reactions online.
Edinburgh: On Wednesday night, locals and students packed the city centre. They were all heading to the Subway club on Cowgate.
Videos on TikTok showed a massive line of partygoers waiting to get in. Some folks stood outside for over an hour! The queue stretched wide, about six or seven people across.
One TikTok user shared a clip of the scene, and it got over 700 likes. She joked about the long wait, saying, “Only an hour long queue.”
People chimed in with their thoughts. One person asked, “Who even queues anymore?” Another said, “For Subway, this is crazy.”
Some decided to ditch the line altogether. One person mentioned they gave up and went to Hive instead.
Back in September, we saw similar scenes at the Why Not club on George Street. That line was just as wild, stretching down towards St Andrew Square.
