His dad, David Campbell, shared the story. It was part of a school project. They even had a sign saying it was for the food bank. But that didn’t stop the thief.
David mentioned that they caught the whole thing on their ring doorbell. The incident happened around 12:25 PM on a Saturday. It’s just so disappointing.
Generous neighbors had donated food over several days. All that kindness was wiped away in an instant. David wants to raise awareness about this theft.
He hopes sharing their story will help catch the thief. Plus, he wants to encourage others to donate to the food bank. It’s a tough time for many, and every little bit helps.
Police Scotland has been contacted for more information. The donations were meant for the Edinburgh Food Project. It’s a shame that such a good cause was affected.
