Locals in Edinburgh were left amazed when an ice cream van crashed into a lamp post without stopping, leaving everyone in disbelief.
People were just going about their day when they saw the van reversing. Suddenly, there was a loud crash! You could hear the shock in the voices of the onlookers. One person even gasped as the lamp post toppled over.
The driver didn’t mean to cause any trouble. He was just as surprised as everyone else. Thankfully, no one got hurt. Scott Arthur, the local MP, shared the video online, reminding everyone how lucky they were.
The Longstone Community Council said the driver cooperated after the incident. They mentioned he gave all his details right away. Councillor Stephen Jenkinson confirmed they got a call about the damaged post and took care of it quickly.
They’ve already removed the broken lamp post and will replace it soon. What a wild day for the neighborhood!
