Joe Wicks made a surprise visit to Dunbar Primary, inspiring kids with fitness and handing over a generous cheque from Asda’s initiative
East Lothian: Joe Wicks, the fitness coach, surprised kids at Dunbar Primary School. He popped in on Tuesday to hand over a big cheque from Asda.
Known as the Body Coach, Joe took some time to chat with the kids and teachers. He also gave a talk about why exercise is so important.
This visit was part of Asda’s Cashpot for Schools initiative. Joe has been promoting this program since it started in September. It’s raised a ton of money for schools across the UK.
Asda donated a portion of their customers’ shopping to schools chosen by the shoppers. Dunbar Primary was the top school, so they got a special visit from Joe.
He was there to get the kids moving and handed over a cheque for over £4,200. Joe shared his excitement on Instagram, saying he was in and out in a day.
He mentioned how thrilled he was to surprise the school and get everyone active. It was a fun day for the kids, and they loved having Joe there!
