Eventually, the car came to a stop on Brandywell Road in Abernethy. The police dog unit was called in to help track the teens. They set up a plan and managed to find all eight of them hiding in the woods.
Luckily, none of the teens were hurt. Two 15-year-olds were charged with theft and road traffic offenses. The other six were also charged related to the theft.
The police spokesperson shared that they received the report of the stolen car around 2:05 AM. By 3:15 AM, they had spotted it in Kelty. The chase ended in Abernethy, and all the teens were found safe.
The police dog unit praised their K-9s, Stig and Xander, for their help during the chase. They worked hard to track down the teens after the car was abandoned. It was a real team effort!
