A man and a woman face charges after a shooting in Waltham Abbey left one injured. The investigation is ongoing as police gather more details.
Waltham Abbey: A serious incident unfolded recently. Detectives are on the case after a shooting left a man injured. It all happened on Howard Close.
Police were called just before 3:30 PM on November 24. A man had been shot in the leg. He was rushed to the hospital with a serious injury.
Fortunately, he’s been recovering well since then. The serious and organized crime squad is digging deeper into what happened.
Two people have been arrested. Amir Mahamud, 26, from Enfield, faces serious charges, including attempted murder. He’s set to appear in court soon.
Margit Knap, 41, from Waltham Abbey, is also in trouble. She’s charged with aiding in the attempted murder. She’s out on conditional bail for now.
Another suspect, Hamidreza Nasiri, 30, is already facing charges. His case is moving through the court system as well.
