A shocking discovery in West Calder as police find a six-year-old girl and a man dead in a home, leaving the community in disbelief and sorrow.
The area around Harburn Drive was quickly locked down by police. Residents couldn’t access parts of the street. Fire crews had to break down the door to get inside.
Images from the scene showed police tape and emergency vehicles everywhere. It was a tense situation for everyone nearby.
